Peace is not the absence of noise — it’s the power to stay centered while everything around you changes.” — Inspired by the wisdom of Buddha

In March, I stood under the very tree where silence turned into enlightenment.

The Bodhi Tree.

And something shifted.

I was seeking answers, clarity, and stillness.

In a world where we’re told to keep moving, Bodh Gaya whispered something different:

Sit. Breathe. Begin again.

We often look for the “perfect moment.”

But real breakthroughs don’t come from perfect timing.

They come when you decide it’s time — despite the chaos.

So on this Buddha Purnima, I’m not just sharing a memory—

I’m sharing moments that reminded me (and maybe you too):

🔸 You are allowed to pause.

🔸 You are powerful even in your quietest moments.

🔸 Your next chapter is already waiting for you — when you stop doubting and start aligning.

Scroll through these photos… and reflect.

Which one speaks to your journey right now?

📣 And yes — if you’ve been thinking of restarting, I’m opening doors to a powerful live session for women on career breaks.

DM me “Breakthrough” to know more.

Cheers

This sounds like a fantastic opportunity to level up design skills!
How interactive will the hands-on practice be? Also, is there a certificate of completion?

Meera (name changed) always dreamed of a life where she would be treated like a Maharani.

A beautiful home, luxurious vacations, and a husband who took care of everything. And for a while, she had it all.

Her husband, Rohan, was her world.

He was the planner, the provider, the protector. He handled the bills, the investments, the future.

Meera never worried about money—she didn’t have to.

Until one night, everything changed.

At just 34, Rohan was gone. A sudden cardiac arrest. No warning, no time to prepare.

One moment, Meera was laughing at a joke he cracked. The next, she was staring at his lifeless body in the hospital.

And then, reality hit her like a storm.

👉 She didn’t know how much money they had.
👉 She didn’t know where the documents were.
👉 She didn’t have a job or an income.
👉 She had a five-year-old daughter looking up at her, waiting for answers.

The relatives who once praised her for being a “ghar ki rani” slowly started disappearing.

Some offered sympathy, some gave advice, but no one could fix her situation.

For the first time, Meera realized—she had lost more than her husband.

She had lost control over her life.

💔 The bank balance wasn’t enough.
💔 The house wasn’t in her name.
💔 The "Maharani life" had left her helpless.

She started looking for jobs, but who would hire someone with a 10-year career gap and no updated skills?

Rejections piled up.

Confidence shattered.

And then, one day, she looked at her daughter and made a decision—"I refuse to let this be my story."

She stopped waiting for help.

She upskilled.
She networked.
She started learning about financial independence.

She took small projects, freelance work, anything that could help her restart.

It wasn’t easy.

Some days she wanted to give up.

But every time she felt weak, she remembered: No one is coming to save you. You have to save yourself.

Today, Meera is not just surviving—she’s rebuilding her life.

Not as a Maharani waiting to be taken care of.

But as a Queen who knows how to rule her own life.
__________________________________________________________________________________

💡 If Meera’s story feels familiar, don’t wait for life to force you into action.

Start today. Learn. Grow. Become independent.
Because no one should ever feel as lost as Meera once did.

What’s one skill you wish you had focused on earlier?

Let’s talk in the comments. ❤️

Yes we all need to be prepared! Even wives who have been married a lifetime dont know the status of their finances. Men do not consider it important to share info with their wives. It is for the woman who needs to assert herself and and keep abreast with finances and financial transactions.

How to Explain Career Gaps Like a Pro!

Let’s be real—career gaps make us nervous. 😟

Will employers judge?
Will I be taken seriously?

The good news?

A career gap doesn’t define you, but how you explain it does! 💡

💬 Interviewer: “So, what were you doing during this break?”
😰 Wrong answer: “Umm… I was just at home.”
✅ Right answer: “I took this time to upskill, volunteer, and manage personal responsibilities, which strengthened my skills in [communication/project management/leadership].”

🔹 Your gap isn’t a weakness. It’s part of your story.
🔹 Own it, frame it positively, and connect it to your strengths.

This carousel breaks down exactly how to do that. Swipe through and be interview-ready! 💪

📌 Save this for later & share with someone who needs it!

Cheers

The first step. It’s all about the first step.

The resistance, the fears, the self-doubt—they feel massive.

But the moment you take that first step, something shifts.

The fears start to fade.

The resistance weakens.

And suddenly, what once felt impossible starts feeling doable.

Yet, when it comes to restarting a career, that first step often feels like the hardest one.

👉 The job market has changed.
👉 Confidence takes a hit.
👉 The guilt of “wasted years” creeps in.

But here’s the truth—your break is NOT your setback.

It’s your secret strength.

💡 What If We Looked at Career Breaks Differently?

Instead of gaps, what if we saw growth?
Instead of lost time, what if we recognized new skills?
Instead of fearing judgment, what if we owned our story with pride?

Many women restart their careers believing they need to start from scratch.

But the reality?

You’re not starting over.

You’re starting from experience.

✅ Leadership at home? Transferable skills.
✅ Freelancing, volunteering, managing life? Valuable experience.
✅ Learning new tools, upskilling, networking? Career capital.

💡 How Do You Restart with Confidence?

📌 Self-reflection first – What skills, strengths, and passions do you bring to the table?
📌 Skill alignment – Match your expertise with what the market needs today.
📌 Elevator pitch ready – Own your career story confidently. No apologies.
📌 Smart job search strategies – Beyond applying online, tap into hidden opportunities.
📌 Community matters – Surround yourself with mentors, peers, and networks that uplift you.

Your career break is not a full stop.

It’s a comma, a pause before your next breakthrough. 💫

💬 Tell me—what’s the biggest challenge you’ve faced while restarting?

Let’s talk! 👇

Cheers

💯 agree. The hardest but most important step is the first one... especially the one you take to step out of your comfort, towards your dream
