I am reaching out to seek your assistance as I have been a victim of cybercrime, which has left me in severe financial and emotional distress since mid-December 2024. The incident involved a fraudulent work-from-home scheme operated by individuals claiming to represent a UK-based company. This has resulted in significant financial losses and has put me in a desperate situation.
I have taken several steps to address the situation, but unfortunately, I have not been able to make meaningful progress:

1. UK Action Fraud: Complaint filed on 10 December 2024, but no response to date (RE: NFRC241207057224).

2. Indian Consulate in Munich: Contacted via email, but no response.

3. My Bank: Discussed the issue regarding the transactions, but no updates so far.

4. High Commission of India in London: Sent an email, but no reply received.

5. CipherTrace: Sent an email, but no reply received.

6. Indian Cyber Crime Cell: Lodged a case but uncertain about their ability to assist.

7. ECC Germany: Filed a complaint for cross-border assistance; they replied that they cannot help.

8. Elliptic Contact Form: Submitted a request for tracking fraudulent transactions; no reply received.

9. Cointelegraph Legal Team: Emailed to report the scam and seek advice but no reply received.

10. ChainAbuse: Filed a scam report to alert others and trace the fraud; no reply received.

11. Cybera.io: They generated a criminal report to be shared with relevant law enforcement agencies; however, no response from the Bavarian police.

12. DFPI: Contacted them, but they stated they cannot assist.

13. Financial Ombudsman Service UK: Reached out, but they responded that they cannot help.

14. econsumer.gov: Submitted a report, but no response has been received.

15. Identity Theft Resource Centre: Contacted them, but they stated they cannot assist.

16. Federal Office for Information Security: Contacted them, but they stated they cannot assist.

Current Situation:
Due to the total financial loss of €31,526 (≈ 32,252.85 USDT) and negative bank balances, I was unable to sustain myself in Germany.

Despite these efforts, I have not been able to receive the necessary support or progress in recovering my lost funds. I am feeling overwhelmed and helpless, with nowhere to turn.

FRAUD SCAM ALERT!
I am sharing my experience to alert others about a scam company named VERVAUNT, supposedly based in London, UK, operating via the website vervaunttask.cc. This company claims to provide "work-from-home" jobs, where you rate products for major retailers like H&M, Zara, Amazon, and others, offering payments in cryptocurrency (USDT). Their operating model is highly deceptive, as explained below, with direct quotes from their representatives.

Their Operating Model:
"The nature of this work is independent (non-technical, no experience required) and can be done using just your phone or computer. The company's workstation is open from 90 am to 210 pm in the UK. You can complete the work in just over an hour a day, and you can withdraw your earned remuneration after completing the work for the day... Complete 2 sets of 40 tasks for 5 consecutive days to get 800 USDT salary; 15 consecutive days to get 1,500 USDT salary; 30 consecutive days to get 3,800 USDT salary + commission."

I joined, hoping to cover living expenses while unemployed in Germany. Initially, the setup seemed easy, but the reality was a nightmare. Here’s how the scam unfolded:

Training and Initial Excitement: During "training," you complete 40 tasks in a dummy account and see 70 USDT credited, creating excitement.
Insufficient Balance: After the first real task, you’re blocked from continuing with a message:
"Insufficient Balance."

They instruct you to "recharge" your account using USDT, pushing you into cryptocurrency transactions.
Escalating Demands: The scheme evolves with increasing requirements like combo packages, negative balances, tax thresholds, and more:
"Congratulations on getting the combo package, which means you can get 3 times the commission... The commission for the bundled task is three times that of the ordinary task."

When I attempted to withdraw my funds, I faced further roadblocks:
"Hello, after verification, the account initiated a withdrawal... Currently, the account has reached the tax threshold, triggering your large withdrawal. The risk value of the tax system has increased and cannot be avoided."

VIP Traps and Extension Fees: They lure you with so-called "upgrades," demanding additional payments:
"Hello, since your account balance has reached the VIP2 level requirement, the system has automatically upgraded your account to VIP2. VIP2 can complete 45 tasks per group, and the commission is higher than your current level."
Or:
"Hello, after the financial department reviews, you need to pay 10% ($$*0.10=$$USDT) of the account balance as the extension fee. The fines paid by the company to the merchants during your extension period are higher than 10%."

Verification Loopholes: At one point, they demanded onboarding and source verification fees:
"According to the process stipulated by our company, we need to verify your account and go through the onboarding procedures... deposit the specified amount of $$USDT for verification."
